For all of human history, women have wanted to control men and be in charge. But this desire on their part has been frustrated. Blame the Patriarchy if you will, but human society has had men in charge basically always.

But I think American society has really swung the other way. I see a lot of bossy, manipulative, controlling women. I know women who proudly declare themselves to be “bitches”. Many actually want to be a “bitch”. It means they are powerful. It means they are in control. It means they call all the shots.

And you say these women can’t find love?

And you say it’s because they are too smart?

Well, I won’t argue. I’ll just walk away. As have so many other men.

I know a couple women just like that... not to say that guys are perfect and not without faults, but sometimes being a “bitch” is not helpful in any way...

I always expected that my protege in Viet Nam would never marry. She is very smart but she was and is a wise-ass. In that country wise-as girls do not find husbands. Because she had a patron she was able to stay in school through to the Vietnamese equivalent of MBA and along the way she met the sort of man who does not find a wife. He would be termed an Asperger here but he graduated as an agricultural veterinarian and the two of them make a perfect match. He has near eidetic memory and focuses finely on what he studies so that he is a knowledgeable and skillful vet. She is making a business out of him. They have bought land and she has organized a corporation.

She is a wise-ass but she is not insufferable. She doesn't talk about her accomplishments except to me because she is intent on showing me what my support has bought. She is currently the head of the accounting department at an export/import firm which she went straight to upon graduating. She had been part time for two years.
