That’s right. Sports used to be a pastime you could show total fanaticism over, and nobody would be offended. You could root for your team with total abandon, and still have a civil discussion with another fanatic from the other team.

That’s what was attractive about a sports-watching hobby.

But that was before the SJW’s decided to politicize sports, with the spirited cooperation of ESPN.

SJW solidarity is quite the fad these days.

“Really? What idea are they showing “unity” for when they take a knee? “

I don’t give a flip if they do the hokey pokey BEFORE the anthem, only that they stand and show respect when the anthem is played.

Straight? That is a dog whistle for heterosexual supremasists....I am triggered. Why don’t they just perform pseudo-homo-erotic ceremonial simulation of a circle jerk? It would be more intellectually honest.

So his “Off the team” comment was nothing but hot air. Never trust or believe him again.

Why is the Dallas Cowboys stadium used as a tornado shelter?
Because there is never a touchdown there.

Too bad he is also associated with the U of Arkansas Razorbacks.

Wow, they really have no clue how many people read their message as “I’m stupid and I hate America.”

Hey the name "Cowboys" is so 19th century, misogynistic and anti-feminist. It's time they adopted a name more fitting for their politics and something a little more 21st century, environmental and biodegradable. I propose they change their name to the:

Dallas Cow Pies.

One thing I liked about this game was Dak is starting to trust the Brice Butlers and launching down field. You might recall that last year he was mostly short passes. What we saw tonight was a new level of play.

When they kneel on television, they accuse me personally of being a racist that needs to be enlightened and educated by their commentary.

When the team condones it, they are joining in the condemnation of me personally.

But the favorable commentary they get the next morning from Skip Bayless and Max Kellerman must be worth the loss of my business. The NFL owners and players are all such smart guys, and would never miscalculate by placing an ex-President’s agenda ahead of satisfying their fans. In fact, there are no doubt millions of Team Obama loyalists buying new PSL’s right now.

IMO, the problem the NFL has is that there are decades of precedence of players, teams and coaches being penalized, fined and suspended for acts of self-expression. Peyton Manning was denied permission to wear high top cleats to honor Johnny Unitas when he passed. Any editing of the uniform will get a player fined, even if it to bring awareness to cancer.

Here we are today with the NFL taking a brave stand for free speech and unity in support of a player who disrespected our country and wore socks depicting law enforcement as pigs. Why?

What the players don’t realize yet is when revenues decline, and they will, the salary cap will be slashed.

They supported those who disrespect the flag by taking a knee, then “respected” the flag by standing (but not properly rendering respect).

Sorry, but both aspects scream to me that they need none of my money, time, or respect.
