Just wanted to share this...
My friend, and former roommate, will be on Fox and Friends First and on Fox and Friends tomorrow to weigh in on the NFL controversy.
A little background on this guy, a retired USMC colonel (led one of the first light armored divisions into Kuwait during Dessert Storm). Tough as nails... and quite outspoken.
When we were plebes together in military school, some officer came into our room, sat on his bed and leaned his head on the flag Jeff had on the wall. He threatened to break the officer's head if he didn't move.
Same week... another officer down the hall from us was playing Jimmy Hendrex's "Star Spangled Banner"... Jeff broke the guy's record player.
That’s awesome. Hopefully you’ll link to his appearance, here in this thread.
A flag....on the wall?
Yea, well... couldn’t really erect a flag pole in the room!
Friend have a name we could watch for?
during Dessert Storm).

Was there a flurry of McFlurries and a passel of pies?
(sorry, couldn’t resist)
Which unit was he in? I was with 3-5 and suspect we were camped adjacent to his unit. The only major casualties I can remember was when a scud was knocked out of the sky and landed on another Marine unit camped next to us. Bad night!
Jeffrey Powers.
3rd Light Armored Infantry Bn.
I’ll make sure to have it on.
Not the unit I was thinking about, I think they are based at 29 Palms. I was thinking I might have met him, but probably not.
In addition to this morning’s 2 shows, he also had an audio-only segment tonight on Fox Business news.
