It's actually our own fault for letting professional sports deteriorate over so many years.
No government, company, hospital -- or even lemonade stand -- can survive very long unless there's a moral force behind it.
If you take out of America its moral, God-loving people, even the Constitution cannot stand. The righteous must make themselves heard. We must stand up and make our institutions right again.
For decades, NFL football stood for something more than just a game. It became a way for Americans to celebrate who we were -- strong, tough, selfless, determined champions.
But now that the athletes and owners have proven they harbor a disdain for their average fan, it feels like they've punched we working American in the gut as they cash their multi-million dollar paychecks.
It's time to do what Jesus did: knock over the money-changers' tables and throw out the Den of Thieves from God's house.
But let's take heart that now is the time of true patriot glory. Boycotting the NFL and their sponsors is easy to do as long as we stick together as Americans.
This is one job Trump can't do alone. He's our leader, and he just gave us the order to take action...
And remember: do not despair, for this is our moment of glory!
