They love Donald Trump in Alabama — but they still might not vote for his Senate candidate

Since his Senate candidate seems to be the less conservative of two options, I'm fine with this. Trump may have endorsed Strange, but it sounds like Moore will do a lot more to help get Trump's agenda passed.

I hope they do vote for Moore. The Donald will lose face and the libs will gloat. Not good. Wake up Donald.

In the larger scope, what is confusing to the “betters” is that the riff-raff no longer is listening to what they are saying and following like the sheep that they are supposed to.

I suspect Trump will campaign for Moore just as enthusiastically.

I think President Trump has effectively got two vice presidents, Pence (the Midwest), and Sessions (the South). Since by tradition, elected officials and the party apparatus don’t get involved in primaries (except in the most dire of circumstances), this to me looks like Trump is trying to figure out what Sessions is worth to him in support.

They still don’t get it.

Many of us are (covert) TEA Party, and Trump is our (covert) TEA Party Leader. It is true grass roots, but nobody organized us. We’re like a swarm that can’t be killed, as we just disperse, bide our time, then regroup around our leader. Covert, not dead. We saw what happened when the entire universe of control freaks went against us. They did everything they could to destroy the TEA Party movement, and did serious damage. They rightly saw us as the biggest threat to them to ever emerge from anywhere, ever, and they threw the kitchen sink at us and did serious damage. But didn’t kill us, just prevented us from truly organizing. We are smart, determined, self organized, motivated, and have a deep, deep burning anger at the way this corrupt government has almost destroyed our country.

Many have “tried” to lead us; virtually all have failed either because of their own self-serving agendas or susceptibility to being destroyed by the anti-freedom cabal. Sarah came close.

Until TD, we had nobody with the strength, brilliance, and friken giant steel balls who was also immune to all of the methods they’ve used in the past to decapitate any leaders. We’ve From all sides, they all tried mightily to kill us, but we’re still here. We are better informed, and largely immune to political BS. We’ve had it! and now we have a leader! But TD is not all we are. He is our leader, and will make mistakes, but will never, ever, ever sell us out. So we gently go in the correct direction, without blasting our leader to hard. And the correct direction is away from The Cabal. Away from McConnell, Ryan, the GOPe, incumbents in general.

So Luther Strange will lose, Moore will win, and we will still support Trump. Because he will never, ever, ever sell us out.

I suspect Trump went “Strange” as a way to put McConnell on the HOOK for getting behind elements of Trump’s agenda. So far as I could tell, Moore is STILL ahead in the polling and Trump was aware of that. His remark during the rally seems to indicate that was the plan.
If it fails to pull McConnell in, you can bet that will be the last time Trump tries to get an IOU from Meathead McConnell.
