Chains and winter tires were recommended by Norway’s Public Roads Administration (Statens vegvesen, NPRA) for motorists traveling on the E6 motorway near Dovre after heavy snow fell in the area this morning.
The snowfall comes early in the autumn, when many motorists are still using summer tires.

It’s always globull warming, er, “climate change”.... anything that happens, count on it.
So, if my Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup again, can the losers blame global warming? 😁😏
Global warming is worldwide (no surprise). Norway has early snow. California has early snow. The warmer we get, the more summer snow will fall each year. Or something like that.
Norway may have the same problem we have in NJ; when the first snow falls, not only do Americans have to remember how to drive in it, but there are also many thousands of vehicles on the road operated by “replacement Americans” who weren’t even here yet last winter. Many of them are honestly seeing the first snowfall of their lives - while driving a multi-ton vehicle on congested roadways.
Or any other place I call it the two week effect any time you have clear roads for two weeks or more.
Then when we get snow again the idiots have forgotten how to drive on it.
A whole summer of no snow they have no chance.

Two weeks is too short; if we have a mild winter we’ll get that - and the early driving is much worse than that in February...
