It might not be the essential oils, it might be the conscious, relaxed breathing. Breathing exercises can be very effective for controlling anxiety. Sounds odd but it does work. Had a couple of tough years myself and it helped me. Prayer is the most beneficial thing, though.
I wish that I could say that I only had a couple of tough years myself when it comes to anxiety. in my case its a complex condition that I have had all my life....call it a birth defect or congenial mental disposition if you prefer. I dont have tough years when it comes to anxiety...i have a tough life. Kind of like being dyslexic I suppose. Instead of looking at the alphabet and seeing random shapes instead of a logical system of a language. Sometimes I simply have a background feeling of fear or dread....no reason why...but its just there.
