Additionally, the pull pin is constructed of hardened
cotton fibers to prevent the thrower from possibly
breaking a nail when extracting.

MRC-ME will be issued with a light-weight pewter
chain enabling the user, should she forget to pull
the pin before throwing, to retrieve the grenade
without placing herself in harm's way.

Some years ago I saw a documentary on Marine recruit training.The premise was that they followed two platoons of recruits through training...one female platoon and one male.The claim was that both platoons were getting *exactly* the same training....no allowances for being female.

After one day of particularly tough training they interviewed several members of both platoons.The guys were clearly tired,sore and visibly "dis-spirited".But all of them made it clear that they could hack it.

The women were weeping like little girls.

I always ask these femi nazis one question. Can YOU!, take a 150 pound sack of potatoes and drag it a city block in 5 to 10 seconds?

They always come back with the usual excuses and demand I answer why. The answer is so simple. In a firefight your fellow troops are depending on you to get them outta there if they get hit. If you cant, they wont want anything to do with you...at least I wouldnt.

Next one. Can you look another human in the eye and stick him, killing him? Can you shoot a child who is running towards you with a grenade? Can you shoot another woman who is shooting at you?

They all still think they can serve in the squads that fight at the front. I couldnt trust any one of them in that role.
