An email in July from the executive committee of the American Psychoanalytic Association to its 3,500 members, represents the first significant crack in the professions decades-old united front aimed at preventing experts from discussing the psychiatric aspects of politicians behavior. It will likely make many of its members feel more comfortable speaking openly about President Trumps mental health.
Note... The American Psychoanalytic Association is not a licencing organization. Psychiatrists and Psychologists can become psychoanalysts, but they must maintain their psychiatrist or psychologist license. It is still a violation of the licensing organizations, and most likely several state licensing boards.
If nothing else, it is a violation of HIPPA.(Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) is United States legislation that provides data privacy and security provisions for safeguarding medical information.
These 27 also moonlight as “climate scientists”
The Trump team needs to get their talking points in place so that when this hits the news in two weeks, they are ready.
And their attorneys.
HIPPA Outline of Law

I’m going to guess that in their professional opinions, Trump has an Authoritarian Personality, and is super scary, like HITLER!!!!
Um... he’s the one driving them crazy. (BOOM)
Like all the expert political pundits, talk show hosts, network political consultants, journalist, and all the establishments expert professional politicians who had Trump doing everything but winning the nomination and presidency?
The curriculum for as well as the licensing requirements for the professions of psychology and psychiatry have obviously become highly biased and highly politicized.
Witch doctors with expensive ties and offices on the Upper East Side.
Not so fast, dammit!
The are a lot of patients ahead of Trump in that line...
Including both houses of Congress!!!!
Shouldn’t the FBI Swat Team be raiding all these whackjobs about now??
This is all part of the “establishment’s” war on Trump to remove him from office any way possible.
Shrinks are charlatans. Lock them up.
She’s got the surname of a Confederate general. I think I’m triggered...
“...one question has quietly but urgently permeated the observations of concerned citizens: What is wrong with him”
In only their twisted, limited imaginations is that question being asked. However, that question is being asked, routinely, about the witch.
I personally know over 100 shrinks... I am even married to one.
The major problem is not the psychiatrists, they are usually very intelligent logical individuals who are relatively level headed... The problem is psychologists who try to act like a psychiatrist. My experience is very poor with psychologists, and I also know a lot of them. I end up cleaning up their mistakes...
Most people don’t understand the difference. A psychiatrist is an MD who graduated from a medical school and a 4 year residency program. A psychiatrist works with the physical body and the mind.
A psychologist only works with the mind and usually does not understand the physical body. It is illegal for psychologists to make a diagnosis as to to so would be practicing medicine without a license.
This means that psychologists don’t even consider biological causes of depression or other illnesses. B12 deficiency, copper toxicity and electrolyte imbalances are all biological causes of depression outside their professional realm.
Traditionally, most psychiatrists have been male (changing now) while most psychologists have been female.
While I am not a psychologist, one of my degrees is in psychology... It was a piece of cake... My focus is in neuroscience research.
By the way, my wife clearly stated that the Goldwater Rule has not changed and these people are in violation. We attended a program on this topic at the annual psychiatric conference last April where the experts discussed it.
Shes got the surname of a Confederate general. I think Im triggered...
And an excellent general. I recently looked at a link here on FR to a list of the bloodiest battles of the civil war. Lee won battles with much higher Union deaths than rebels, even when he was outnumbered 2 to 1. Of the top 12 battles, the union deaths were higher than the confederacy.
Not exactly the guy I'd trust to give psychiatric diagnoses.
He may know a lot about narcissism, though, and also about how to set up a prison camp.
