Obviously you are not familiar with the fact that there were three layers to the 70 week declaration, one of which was that Yeshua’s ministry would be exactly 70 weeks in duration.
Every prophecy is directed to “the lost sheep of the House of Israel.” Perhaps they are all wise men ????
No one ‘gets’ a prophecy that they don’t have the patience to prayerfully study.
Many of those that identify as “Christians” are simply not Yeshua’s sheep, as evidenced by his words.
The “end of the world” is a millennium away.

Several years ago, I did spend a number of days trying to understand the 70 weeks and I am not sure I got all the meaning in it. But indeed, I could have spent more time on it. There were indications that there was more to it than I had gotten. I just got what seemed most obvious. If I were a full time theologian, maybe I would get more.
But I am still a little cautious of accepting the claims of people that have studied it more deeply and see more meanings. Maybe they are right or maybe they are wrong...but it seems there have been several examples of people reading in what must not have been there, since there is no shortage of end-of-the-world pronouncements that people claim to have been scriptural that have not come to be.
Chuck Misler seems to me a good example of somebody who has some insights I don't have into prophetic interpretation. I find him fascinating to listen to. He got me interested in the 70 weeks. And I was surprised and delighted with the investigation. But still I am not going to trust Chuck Misler's reading of the prophecies 100%. I don't think he trusts all of his ideas himself, and is intelligent enough not to think he has it down for certain.
I am especially cautious about people who claim to know it all and get it all. Those seem to be the types that make the false dooms day predictions. And they seem to be the type that found heresies like Gnostism etc.
