Students demand bathroom accountability

Students, faculty and administration gathered to discuss why the sign for the first-floor bathroom in Baker Hall was changed from “gender-inclusive” to just for “women.”

Held in the University of Massachusetts Commonwealth Honors College Event Hall by the University Bathroom and Restroom Committee on Tuesday, the town hall-style meeting was intended to address why the bathroom—which is on the Spectrum LGBTQIA and Ally Floor in Baker—was re-signed and any steps that can be taken to resolve the issue.

Jean MacKimmie, Director of Residence Education for UMass Residential Life, led the meeting, beginning with an apology.

“We should have and could have communicated with members of the community last spring,” MacKimmie said. “I believe there are things that could’ve been done differently.”

Why is there a floor named for non-normal sexual activity? Colleges are in the business of changing minds. They force the students to accept the new vocabulary, which leads them to change their opinions.

The fact that there was a big meeting over a sign hung on a bathroom and the fact that there is a floor with that weird acronym tells me that students have waaaaay too much free time on their hands and that the college administration is whipped by these little brats.

There are adults throughout Houston who are picking up the pieces of their lives and doing so with an attitude I could only hope to have after such a debilitating disaster. Compare that to a bunch of bitchy brat students seeing the end of the world in a sign hung over a toilet.

I think it’s sad this generation doesn’t understand what it means to celebrate our TWO gender differences rather than pretend they don’t exist. Truly sad. This short-sighted view will come back to haunt them.

How did this mental sickness permeate our school systems? Leftism truly is a mental illness. The inmates are running the asylums.

What will it take to make these mentally ill people understand that lopping off a penis does not make that person a woman anymore than dressing like a woman makes that man a woman. It doesn’t matter how much that mentally ill person thinks he is a woman. Normalizing abhorrent behavior is the worst possible way to treat this severe debilitating mental illness. He will never have a period. He will never have a baby. He will never understand what it was like to go through puberty as a girl developing into a woman learning how men view and lust after them. All this and much much more is all part of what it means to be a woman; not just a screw loose in some mentally ill guy’s head.

I can’t believe our society has devolved this much. This de-evolution will help no one. If someone wanted to destroy a culture/society/national identity; this would be a good way to do it.

Feminazis said one goal was to take away mens’ power. If that means telling them to go to the back of the bus/upstairs to take a pee, so be it. Neo-Segregationists do what they do out of hate.

I would think that most public buildings have 2 restrooms on the same floor (often but not always near each other). When Houston pushed a “potty parity” ordinance, it took former men’s rooms and gave them to women only so that women had more stalls that they were demanding. Men were told they could pee in a trough or outside or something.
