If they are trying to teach people to speak English, wouldn’t writing it in English be a little counter-productive?
Side note, my daughter volunteers with an agency to teach ESL on an individual basis. Her student is a young Hispanic guy. At their first session at the library, he showed her his green card. He sounds like a great kid.
Authentic green card? Tell her to never leave the library with him.
Immersion. It toò is a motivator.
