I have v5.31.6105 version- should I update? From the article:
In a blog post, Piriform confirmed that two programs released in August were compromised. It advised users of CCleaner v5.33.6162 and CCleaner Cloud v1.07.3191 to download new versions.
No, you don't need to update, but why not? It's free.

Yes- I quoted the article myself and know which version they are referencing (which is not the version I have)but I am wondering if I should update anyway or skip it for now.

"No, you don't need to update, but why not? It's free. "Why not? For all thinking about updating, you might want to proceed VERY carefully, or you will wind up with your browser changed over to a virus- Chrome. I did not see anything about corrupting my computer with that garbage, and I have no idea how much it is going to take to get back to normal. The first problem, it killed my shortcut to Free Republic!. God only knows what else it did.
