Happy Sunday folks.
I’m loving Jack Benny, but the rest isn’t looking great. Stan Freberg, if memory serves, sucks. Night Beat is good...the Rudy Vallee show should be good...Destination Freedom, seriously, can’t we EVER GET PAST A PERSONS RACE? and why on the Big Broadcast?...and Sally in Hollywood, can’t find info on it, may be a children’s show which would be inappropriate at that time slot.
How it’s going?
Hi, Vision! How YOU doin’?!
It’s a warm day here, warm and humid.
How was the week?
That sounds soooo good! I liked that video of it you posted. We had lunch at the Waffle House today, which is a Blackstone-type lunch. :-) It’s been a long time since we’ve eaten there.
The week’s been fine, very busy. I had to do two radio remote broadcasts late in the week, one which kept me up waaaay past my bedtime on Thursday night—got home at 10PM and didn’t wind down till after 11:30—but the extra pay is nice.
That’s good. I thought you had problems with the radio station.
I have two part-time radio jobs and am thankful for them both. It’s a dichotomy. One is for the mammoth radio corporation of the world, and the other is a resort Arkansas mom and pop.
The problem with the mammoth one is very specific, though. I probably mentioned it to you years back. But I still love my job.
Omg Omg there’s a sexist joke on gunsmoke and we’ve been warned!
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I’m so glad we’re tuned in to 20th Century Radio right now! :-D
But we miss you!
We’re always here, anyway, though. Lord willing. :-)
Only caught one fish, but but was cathartic.
A mediocre day of fishing is better than the best day at work. At least that’s what they say. :-)
For better or worse, you rediscover yourself.
