Although the entertainment media will never admit it, will do everything in its sycophantic power to write all around it (see: Line, Dead), the chickens have finally come home to roost for Jennifer Lawrences hateful mouth. The once-bright superstar who could open even a poorly reviewed piece of low-budget horror-junk like House at the End of the Street to $12.2 million, has just hit a devastating career low (for a wide release), a humiliating $8 million opening for her latest, the critically-lauded, psychological horror-thriller Mother!
This is a catastrophe for Lawrence, one of Hollywoods most stridently bigoted (former) stars. The Oscar-winners hateful attacks on Christians, conservatives, President Trump and his supporters have chipped away at her popularity going back to 2014, but no one expected this, expected anything close to $8 million, to single digits. At worst, Mother! was projected to squeak in at $12 million.
As the bootlicker media attempts to convince themselves that social justice warrior-Lawrences venomous attacks on the customers and their intelligence (The Princess of Pro-Science blamed Trump for two hurricanes) had nothing to do with this weekends career catastrophe, I want you to keep two words in mind
Crimson and Peak.
Almost exactly two years ago, in October of 2015, a gothic horror film created by auteur Guillermo del Toro opened wide on 2,984 screens. With a 71% fresh rating from critics and a couple of respected but mid-level stars (Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam), Crimson Peak opened to $13 million.
Two years later, a gothic horror film created by auteur Darren Aronofsky opened wide on 2,368 screens. With a 70% fresh rating from critics and starring Oscar-winner and supposed superstar Jennifer Lawrence, along with Oscar-winner Javier Bardem and the long-established Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer, Mother! bottomed out with a pathetic $8 million.

Jennifer Lawrence is now box office poison.
Yup. And now she will take a “break” from acting.
Good, maybe she can look back on the wreckage of her career and see that she brought this on herself. Probably not, she will likely run her mouth some more to assure that she is ruined forever.
To be honest...this MOVIE sounds like a total loser. It sounds more like an artsy-fartsy, “Can you guess what I mean?” movie than a genuine horror flick. Stupid to the bone.
I’ve never seen a movie with Jennifer Lawrence, so I have no idea about her - other than her politics suck. As they do for most actresses.
A very lovely lady who has shown what Hollyweird can do to a young, not too bright, spoiled, and pampered brat. But she’s got her multi-millions in the bank, lots of nude pictures sprawled all around, and she can now drift off to obscurity. Too bad, but I love our country and our president too much.
Buying a movie ticket is THE SAME as making a donation to the Democrat Party.
Wake up Conservatives...
Jennifer Lawrence is now box office poison, and the industry of lies and decadence she gets a paycheck from is in free fall.
MBA and doctoral thesis’s will be written for decades on how stupid and terminal, it was for the Follywood liberals, NFL/ESPN and the DNC to spit in the faces of 62+ million Trump voters.
Also, they have or are turning off thousands of independent voters each day if those voters are white, work for a living and go to Church on Sunday while trying to be good parents for their kids.
The hard working Asian, Hispanics and other family oriented Americans are the new silent majority.
My daughter was heavily into the Hunger Games series when she was younger. I watched a couple of them with her; I thought they depicted the sort of future we'll get if the international elites get their way.
Hunger Games nets out as friendly to Conservative principles, at least in the American context.
She can probably extend her career by doing one or two nekkid films.
How soon until Ms Lawrence begins proclaiming on all the talk shows that the reason this steaming turd of a movie flopped was because of “misogyny?”
Anyone want to start a pool?
It’s actually a religious, or rather anti-religious, film. I read the plot description on Wikipedia.
She’ll blame it on Trump voters.
Spoiler alert: I'm saving everyone their time and money by posting IMDB comments by attendees to this pretentious atrocity. It's an ALLEGORY about God and Mary and environmentalism told Rosemary's Baby style. It sounds worse than The Hateful Eight which is my current pick for worst movie of the century:
"The whole movie is Allegory! And that's what you should keep in mind while watching it."
"Aronofsky is well aware of the fact that history repeats itself, and unless humans decide to take responsibility for our actions and stop the endless assault on Mother Nature, we might wake up one day to find that she has no more love to give."
"Jennifer Lawrence was representing "Virgin Mary"(that's why the film is called "Mother!") and also the "Home", "Earth"... Simply "Hera"- goddess in Greek mythology. That's why she had such a strong connection with the house! Trying to protect it from all of those guests trying to destroy it. She was getting crazy and feeling sick, when the house was being destroyed and hence she saw the blood in the house only in those moments etc"
"Without discussing the metaphor this would be a very hard film to review (because that is in essence everything), so let's get into some spoilers. As I understand it, Javier Bardem's character is 'God' or 'Him' as he is listed in the credits. The film serves as a commentary on how (according to the Bible at least) all God wants is attention and to be loved, no matter how many people in the real world have to be destroyed, killed or blown up for him to achieve that."
"In a nutshell..... The story of a writer-blocked poet (Bardem) and his beautiful young wife (Lawrence) who has adoring fans (including Ed Harris and his wife Michelle Pfeiffer) that flock to his home just to be in his presence. Forgive the run on sentence........Harris is dying of cancer, his two sons arrive to fight over his money, get into a fistfight and one gets killed, more fans arrive, Lawrence goes into labour, fans start to riot, tearing the house apart, she has the baby, he wants to show his fans, she says no, he sits and stares at her for days, she falls asleep, he takes the baby, shows his fans, they grab the baby, kill it and eat it, Mom goes nuts, runs to the basement with a wrench, bashed a hole in the oil tank and sets it on fire and blows up the whole place, Bardem carries her charred body, sets her down and proceeds to reach in her chest and take out her heart, with her permission. He squeezes her heart til it turns to glass, sets it in a stand, the next scene there's a new wife and the whole thing starts over again. There! Just saved you $10........you're welcome!"

Yes ! This ! Yell this from the rooftops !
Supporting ad revenue is also giving to the DNC. A conservative-honoring life is tough. But that’s what it’s like when you’re losing a war against the devil himself.
Saw her once on accident watching American Hustle on a DVD my son brought over.
I’ll take Amy Adams any day of the week over that ditz.

The New York Times critic arrogantly warns in his review: ‘Dont listen to anyone who natters on about how intense or disturbing it’ is.’
Sorry, pal, but a mob that burns a screaming baby and its mother alive, then turns cannibal, eats the baby and rips its heart out to flush down the toilet while Patti Smith sings about the end of the world pretty much fits my definition of both intense and disturbing. Whats yours?

Good; she should learn her enemy and the consequences of her actions.
Well, of course they’re to blame. They’re the people who are actually trying to DO things, as opposed to those who raise awareness or organize communities.
