Hello from Massachusetts! The one good thing that I did this season was to seed a planter on the deck on 8/14 with packets of Arugula (from 2016), Buttercrunch lettuce (2016), Parris Island Cos Lettuce (2016) Corn Salad D’Etampes (2016) and Green and purple basil (2008). All came up and we are presently having them for salads. I watered them once or twice and that was it. They’re beautiful and delicious.
We had one good tomato due to our blight. An animal, possibly a squirrel, took a bite out of it. We ate the rest and it was one of the best, sweetest tomatoes I’ve ever had. :)
Glad to hear that you’re doing well in Missouri. Take care of that back.
I love having a pot of fresh green stuff to clip and eat all winter, and I need to get going on that.
We were going to check out Home Depot tomorrow, but unless the back gets better - that will not happen.
May have to give up and see a doctor-yuk.
