Picked about 3-9 tomatoes this week. Small but no problem.

Picked about 16 Jalapeno peppers. Oh yeah, good and hot they’ve been so far. Hope to ship these off to a friend for fun.

Cherry tomatoes doing good - there are about 60+ out there - I picked 14 on Friday.

Tomatoes from Beefsteak plant ripened with apples - got one green cherry tomato sealed in the bucket with them - he fell off early - good size - he just needs to ripen.

I didn’t do my 4th harvest from the Sweet Basil plant - there now may be very few leaves I can harvest. Oh well, it still smells good.

I picked 30 peppers this past week - not huge but all Green - some turning red and maybe a little yellow. Mostly they’re just all Green Peppers.

Sweet Marconi plant has given up about 3-4 the past couple weeks - she has a couple big ones and 3 or 4 going - 3 are coming along nicely - the 4th is still small I think.

I’ve got some tomatoes to chop up and peppers to chop and freeze. Oh well, having a bit of fun with it.

well I didn't know about this but we had a FREEZE warning for tonite and sure enough, we got in very late and it was in the 30's....this after having one of the hottest summers on record here and it was just in the 90's week or so ago...

hope my tomatoes survive...

Just when I thought they might be done, our peppers are coming on strong again, that and the secondary growth broccoli. 4 broccoli plants seem to be enough for the 2 of us. we eat a lot when the first heads come in, and then steam a minute or 2 and vacuum seal and freeze any extra. Had a nice unexpected meal’s worth plus leftovers yesterday.

Sounds like some good results to me. Trim that basil plant make sure and leave a few leaves on it, give it some fertilizer and continue to water it.

If it’s in a pot, bring it in and you should have basil all winter - I kept one going for 5 years, and it would still be going, except that I just decided to dump it - it was looking so scraggly. I am still using dried basil from that plant.
