A scheduled flyover Philly today between 8:00am-8:30am....C-17 is part of the celebrations Fox29's salute to the military
I saw that report on fox29. Saw one fly over yesterday and the day before. I always wave after getting in the habit in Jville NC when the ospreys and helos flew over real low. A Marine wife said the guys can see everything.
I wish I had waved to the A-10 pilots 25 yrs ago while hanging out diapers at 10 in the morning. Willow Grove was closed. :(

A-10s were based at Madison, WI, for years, and could be seen flying all over the area. At the time, I didn’t have any idea what marvelous combat aircraft they are. Now we have F16s and, maybe, soon F35s.

Love those big monsters, and the skills of the pilots who “tame” them, a significant number of whom are female PIC ( Pilots in Command...)
