Hillary Clintons book signing was as insufferable as youd expect
By Maureen Callahan
Among the enduring criticisms of Hillary Clinton: Her sense of entitlement is limitless. Shes tone-deaf and doesnt understand the average American nor does she care to. Her greed is insatiable.
Add to this a gaping lack of self-awareness, and you have all the ingredients for the New York City launch of Hillarys nationwide book tour Tuesday morning (also primary day, not that Hillary who maintains shes still here only for us cares about that either).
Thousands of people lined up outside the Barnes & Noble at Union Square in hopes of meeting their idol. Some slept outside the night before. Clare Hogenauer, an older, disabled upper West Sider, told me she rented a downtown motel room nearby. I didnt want to take a chance, she said.
For Hillary supporters, this event was meant to be a salve, a corrective, a moment of collective grief and healing.

Is that—it can’t be—an actual QUOTE from the book?
It is.
The Island of Misfit Toys....
Dear Hillary,
You, too, have to live with the consequences of your decisions. You have made many bad decisions through the years. Unfortunately, there are too many to enumerate here. However, one poor decision that I probably should make you aware of, since you obviously cannot figure it out for yourself is the following. You made the decision to include in your most recent book a paragraph or two about young women who didn’t vote for you, and you wrote about not being able to give them absolution. Absolution is a word that one uses when referring to a sin. A sin, Hillary! Choosing not to vote for someone is not a sin! Who do you think you are, God, the Almighty?
Therefore, because it is now written word, you cannot unwrite it. You cannot erase it, You made the decision to include it in your book. People will look at this and understand that you are among the most haughty of all people. It is something you have not figured out for yourself. You do not have one ounce of humility in you. Even after months of reflection, you simply don’t get it. You don’t see it.
So what really happened, Hillary? What happened was that Americans looked at who their choices were. You were one choice. You were, and are still, an amalgamation of your poor choices. On Election Day, 2016, millions of Americans decided, for many various reasons, that you were not worthy of the office of President of the United States, and you lost.
