Many asked in Spanishwas it discrimination because they were Latino? They didnt know what to do or where to go.
Civic Towers had visible damage on the sides of the building where the walls had fallen off. Trees blocked several roads nearby the buildings. Though the entrances were blocked with plywood, windows into residents' apartments were not shuttered.

Guess they couldn’t bother listening to the mayor and FEMA when they ended their English warnings and switched to Spanish. Guess they don’t know how to turn on the SAP or switch to their half dozen Spanish channels.
It just not them but an English speaking white woman was interviewed before Irma hit complaining that no one had put out any warnings or instructions so she didn’t know what to do. Makes me want to reach into the tv and slap these morons.

not buying it, especially in Florida. And I do recall the Gov'ner speaking in Spanish at every press conference.
