The country is shallow. You look inside the person. You never know what they have been through, what battles they have fought.
I had no idea the French were still so rigid in their definition of what’s acceptable and what’s not acceptable. These are the same people yelling at Americans for being so ‘intolerant’.
I’m glad for her that she is finding greater acceptance while still being herself. Were this girl my sister or daughter, I would have told her to move out of France. She had a better time in Spain, why not go there for a few years? Maybe she never had enough capital to conduct that kind of career experiment. Those remarks from supervisors at her jobs were enormously cruel and inappropriate.

Yes they are. I know someone that almost died from one. And this was years after the surgery. He had internal bleeding, had to have blood transfusions, etc. He almost died.
And others that I’ve known to have it done aren’t successful for that long. A few years later they gain it all back.
