I’m not getting the God part. Are you saying God is in control of the hurricane? Or, because they don’t believe in God they’ll get it wrong?

Maybe we could better put it as a “selfishness” aspect. Lurid news, such as Irma boogieing right up the Florida peninsula and starting as a Cat 5 and only becoming Cat 3 midway up (turns out that Cuba was enough to tone it down to a Cat 3 already) would tend to attract a bias.

Selfishness is the obverse of a God honoring sense, which is coincident with an objective science sense.

Or maybe I should say, the inverse of it.

No, because those who create these models have no truth in their heart, they will inevitably screw things up. Thus God, will show them to be a fool, by exposing their foolishness to the people.

The Hurricane is not the problem here, well it is destructive, but these fools create models based on pseudo science for their desires, not the truth. So millions get affected negatively instead of getting the truth about the danger.

Look at Harvey, Corpus Christi evacuated, then it hits Houston. We can make better models, but because they care about proving something that does not exist, they are fools, and God will bring their foolishness to light.

God does not corporately destroy places and groups of people anymore, He does so individually, but for an individual to lead many astray with lies, God will eventually deal with those individually.

What part of Act of God don’t you understand?
