Another great Science Fiction author has passed away. He was also a conservative/libertarian sort of fellow who would offer his opinion on his website "Chaos Manor."
He will indeed be missed.

He wrote one of my favorite lines in all scifi in “Footfall” in reference to the invaders: “Nuke ‘em til they glow and then shoot ‘em in the dark.”
Which would be a good policy against antifa.

I used to read almost everything he wrote. He wrote a column about computers that ran right through the time they became ubiquitous.
He and his partner, Larry Niven, defined a lot of modern science fiction.
An under appreciated series is The Golden Road, a satire based on Los Angeles when magic worked, and followed predictable rules. As usual, the first book, The Burning City, was the best.
