I gave up the NFL last year when the league did not take any action to stop the anti-American nonsense.
Yeah me too.
I gave up on the NFL in the 20th century.
The only time I follow it is when it gets political, e.g. inflategate.
That kind of stuff is always fun. I love how they said that a ball that the refs handle between EVERY SINGLE PLAY was illegally deflated by a team. :)
Fewer people watching television period.
A good start!
There was one ‘sitter’ last night, #22 of the Chiefs..................
I turned the game off in the third quarter. Long, drawn out and boring, just because of the stoppages, and WAY too many flags. Tedious to watche, anymore.
I turned it off when it appeared Brady wouldn’t be having a perfect season.
I let my cable go. I’m doing the streaming Netflix, Hulu, Amazon thing.
I use the antenna and watch the free network channels Fox, NBC, ABC, CBS when there is something we really want to watch.
For some reason, I thought this was going to be a ESPN game, so I didn’t even bother looking for it.
10 or 20 years ago, no way I miss the first game of the season, now, it barely moves my needle of my radar.
I am taking a knee again this year.
LOL.
Me too!
They’ll probably blame the decline on the hurricane, just like they did last year with the election. It’s never the fault of the NFL that their product just isn’t good anymore. I started turning out way before the Kapernick nonsense.
Awesome. Me too. :D
Sorry, I won’t support anti-American conduct.
I don’t plan on watching any football or supporting any of their sponsors until football becomes an American sport again.
It’s tedious to watch, good points.
My complaints are:
After a touchdown or field goal, they go to a commercial break, come back for the kickoff, then go to another commercial break.
Too much time is taken with replay reviews.
Girl sideline reporters who seem to know nothing about football. Why are they there, what do they add to the broadcast?
WAY too many commercials. NFL games can take 3 1/2 hours to play because they are passing the time with commercials.
The on screen graphics can be distracting. Why do they have the network logo float across the screen before they show every replay??
Add it all up and it does get tedious to watch a football game on TV for over three hours.
Missed a great game.
” ...a ball that the refs handle between EVERY SINGLE PLAY was illegally deflated by a team.”
I’ve made that comment on here before but of course our totally incompetent media still hasn’t mentioned it.
