We can no longer dismiss Ryan’s and McConnell’s political shenanigans and misdeeds as mere foibles.

So, now that Jennifer Lawrence is educating us about God (er, Mother Nature) ACTUALLY being present in control of the “World” as it “takes revenge” on Christians and conservatives and right-wingers (for doing anything and everything since 3BC), what other Aesop’s Foibles will she be willing to believe, to lie about, to accept as Gospel (er, absolute truth)?

But and Intelligent Designer and Creation is totally false, a contradiction of “Science” (and “Gaia’s revenge or “Mother Nature’s evolution” obviously) ...

You should never wear an aluminum foible hat; people might think you’re a bit eccentric.

These Hollywood people must be as stupid as a pile of dirt.

They just had one of the worst summers in over two decades, revenue is down 25% from LAST YEAR, and they insult their prospective customers by calling them every name they can dream up, and they expect US to reward them with our hard earned cash?

They can’t get any stupider.

Back in the Golden Age of Hollywood, when the big studios were in charge, they kept their stable of actors under contract and on a tight leash. They kept their mouths shut about political, religious and personal matters.

I would not be surprised if they revived that system in the near future......................

I once found pro football enjoyable
But the protests are more than mere foible
Colin Kaepernick started
And now he’s departed
Not one team has found him employable

When we tolerate the left’s little foibles,
To accommodate and appease,
They will then, in the manner of Goebbels,
With the BIG Lie, bring us to our knees.

(Do this poem with a New Joisey Accent, rather than a Boston Accent!)

What a tragedy for our people that fencing has so nearly faded entirely from our cognosphere.

The language still contains a number of fencing terms—foible, riposte, contretemps—even while all knowledge of this best of all sports is lost.

People talk about how Japanese is a difficult language to learn. I was able to teach myself to speak, read, and write Japanese because, and only because, I had learned to fence.

Fencing is a thing so difficult that, not infrequently, those who pursue it are driven to prodigious feats of philosophy.

It is not only one’s foible, but also one’s foibles, that keep a fencer off the podium.

The compadre I work for had relatives who decamped with haste from the Houston area staying at his place until yesterday-and this AM one of his sisters who lives near Miami called to say she’s on the way here-he said this is looking like the longest hurricane season he can remember...

One of the foibles of the RINOs
In congress is they all play poker
With our money-when they do
We taxpayers all end up broker

Pres Trump gave them 3 months
To do what the voters have said
Or else he will be pleased to see
Them primaried by voters instead

He threw Chuck and Nancy a bone
Just big enough to start a real fight
At the democrats’ big hog trough
So they are out of sound and sight...
