Texas A&M’s coach or offensive play-caller deserves to be fired for this epic loss. Their second half QB, Mond, finished the game with 3-of-17 completions. Their running game dominated the first half, and they finished 382 yards on the ground... and despite these facts, with a 44-10 lead, and only 19 minutes left in the game, they called more pass plays than running plays. They had EIGHT incomplete passes in this time period... basically donating an extra 8 timeouts to the Bruins, as they were racing back into the game. It was unreal that they kept going back to a QB who could not complete a pass at all, when their runners were so dominant.

The offense scored enough to win. Can the defense coach

I would place blame on the Defensive coordinator. They lost because of lack of defense.

>>> unreal that they kept going back to a QB who could not complete a pass at all, when their runners were so dominant.

Plus, as my wife pointed out, they stayed with the freshman instead of putting in the senior Hubenak. Not a great QB, but much more seasoned and a 60% passer - he’d at least be a threat to pass it. Mond couldn’t hit a running back out of the backfield.

Coach should be gone for a whole lot of reasons in this one game; even forgetting the reason they are in QB trouble from two seasons ago.

Oops, just read that Jake Hubenak has a shoulder injury. Never mind on that point.
