Curious about what exactly happened. Did he insult her with abusive language towards her as a woman?
Just wondering. When we see run ins with referees and umpires in other sports, they never say that so and so was a black referee, accosted by a white player; the subject never comes up. So wondering what her being a woman has to do with the story.
Maybe they’re all trying one-up McEnroe by surpassing his career fine tally?

McEnroe, Connors and Nastase killed what little interest I had in watching tennis, and my life has only been better as a result of never watching.
