Direct link to the really excellent Youtube video in which a man (don’t know who he is but he’s really good) explains exactly what happened in court.

They’ve had the Bundy group locked up for 18 months without a conviction and they’re thinking of granting an enemy subversive the opportunity to skip? America is so messed up.

An AG with some stones would simply declare: no GPS?? Then he’s simply going to be imprisoned until trial as a flight risk

I realize that under the Sessions Derangement Syndrome (SDS) that seems to have taken over, the Attorney General is responsible for everything. I hate to break the news but no Attorney General can impose pretrial confinement. That is the function of the court, not the prosecutor.

Well apparently, oh defender of the indefensible, the current empty suit in the AG's office is incapable of even doing what he is qualified by law to do.

So what's your point? You saying we're wrong to call out Jeff Sessions for ineptitude and laziness? Sessions' body of work (or rather, absence of work) speaks volumes. Take your breathless defense of Sessions somewhere else. I hear flower companies are buying bullsh*t at top dollar.

Holder screwed America through overt racism. Sessions is screwing America through decrepitude. The means are different, the result is the same.

Sessions was put there by Trump. We are being played.

So what's your point?

My point is very simple. I want the Attorney General to do his job as outlined in the oath he took upon entering office.

“I, AB, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

Many would like the AG to be the chief defender of the President or the enforcer who evens the score with real or perceived enemies or the mythical hero who instantly solves all problems or the bar room brawler who beats up anyone who speaks badly of the President. I don't see President Trump as being a shrinking violet who is incapable of defending himself. Actually it would be demeaning to him to suggest that he needs an Attorney General, or anyone else, to violate the law in order to protect him from those bad guys who are out to get him.

Our government did not get into the current state of corruption overnight and it will not be reformed quickly or easily. There is clearly an entrenched power structure and they are smart, united in purpose, and willing to do almost anything to maintain their position. They will not give up and will not be defeated easily. The level of defeatism I see on these forums daily is very troubling as is the seeming obsession with tearing down anyone who does not buy into the latest instant solution. This corruption will only be rooted out by a careful, strict, and methodical application of the law. We don't need a flash in the pan bomb thrower who scores a couple of wins and then goes into a victory dance. We need a committed individual who can't be swayed by flattery, criticism, or promises of riches or position, one who is willing to dot every (i) and cross every (t), someone who knows the rules and is willing to follow them, and most of all, someone who trust the system and is willing to stay the course.

I think Jeff Sessions is the right man for the job and obviously President Trump also believed that when he appointed him. You might not agree and that doesn't bother me. I will trade ideas with anyone but only trade insults with those individuals I know and like.
