RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. - All he was trying to do was to stop two men who were taking televisions from a South Carolina department store, police said.
Now Duaine Hamilton, 81, is dead, and the local sheriff said he will hold the alleged thieves accountable for Hamiltons death, WISTV reported.
Hamilton was the Searss loss prevention officer at the Midlands, South Carolina, store. He had worked for Sears for 13 years.
Police said Hamilton stood, blocking the two men, who then shoved him to the ground on Aug. 22. He hit his head on the ground and police said that injury caused his death at an area hospital on Aug. 26, WISTV reported.
It was all caught on surveillance video.

I think there are also, in some states, particular penalties for an assault upon an elderly person.
Especially since TV’s are so expensive now...$50-$150. And this is for technology we couldn’t have imagined even 5 years ago.
But I guess these two bright lights couldn’t be expected to invest in their own entertainment, no matter how little it cost.
Poor fellas were probably microaggressed by Confederate statues all their lives.

Stole a TV. How gutter of them. So broke they stole a cheap TV. What pathetic losers they are. Use a cheap but strong rope when hanging them.
