Can you imagine any city with a Negro Hospital which dates its history back to the old days?? As long as we are so focused on all this, I think this is worthy of discussion.

This is pretty far off subject but the mention of "segregation" reminds me of the story. Sammy Davis Jr was on Johnny Carson's show and mentioned that when he first started playing in Las Vegas he was allowed to perform. But then after he was finished he had to drive to another part of town to stay because blacks weren't allowed in the big hotel/casinos. Poor Sammy, he died the same day as Jim Henson and got second billing in the obits.
