I have a theory about this: If you’re a reader of Teen Vogue, you’re probably a teenaged girl. That means your mother and most of the other women you know are the mothers of teenaged girls. THAT is why they are angry.

Years ago, a buddy of mine had a girlfriend, who I could always tell what time of the month it was.

It was the only time she was actually a nice human being.

A number of years ago I dated a gal, who after we started dating, always complained. Usually about work.

Day after day after day after day, complaining about the same person or people doing the same things. NEVER doing anything to address the situation.

One day on the phone, she was extremely angry about something at work. Finally, I made some lighthearted remark. Which REALLY set her off.

Why was I making jokes? The situation was SERIOUS!!!! DAMNIT!!!!

I told her I was just trying to lighten the mood and trying to make her laugh a little.

Her response was "I WANT TO BE ANGRY"

My response was "Well I don't."
"If you're in a bad mood and want help getting out of it, call me."
If you're in a bad mad AND WANT to stay there, call someone else".

Then hung up.

I think we went out once or twice afterwards. But the complaining attitude never changed and I decided I wasn't putting up with that crap any longer.

Saw a poster on a teachers door one time. It said:
"Everybody brings joy into a room. Some when they enter. Others when they leave."

Happiness is a decision. One that needs to be made everyday.

Life is hard enough, without needlessly adding angry people into it.

On the other hand, you used to have women like my great-grandmother, who married at sixteen, worked her fingers to the bone as a poor farmer’s wife, bore eleven children and buried three of them In their childhood, raised my mother from infancy after my grandmother died in childbirth, struggled with cancer on and off for the last twenty years of her life and who, by all accounts, had the patience and love of a saint.

Then you also had women like my grandmother, married young, never worked a day in her life because men always took care of her every need, never had any illness, smiled every day, and live to be 106. That was the grandma who politely explained to me "never believe what you see on television--there is no way we went to the moon". :-)

Lol...now really, I've seen the "angry" thing. It's a joke. The moment you see a hint of it, start your exit plan.

There are too many wonderful women out there who are not insane or infected with the left's twisted version of reality to get caught up in the nightmares of some maladjusted liberal woman. Forget them and move on.
