Two million Muslims from around the world have arrived in Mecca for the hajj pilgrimage two years after a deadly stampede killed more than 2,000 worshippers. Shiite Muslims from Iran returned to Mecca in Saudia Arabia, following the biggest catastrophe in the history of the hajj. Last year the tragedy killed nearly 2,300 pilgrims with 464 Iranians among the fatalities, leading to officials in Tehran criticising Saudi Arabia's organisation of the pilgrimage.

Boy, did that hit the spot. I tried a 5Mt device in both air and surface detonation modes on Mecca and the air burst looks like it would take care of the hajjis. For grins, I also let loose same over Pyongyang and ironically got similar death numbers— at least 1.6 million. Of course, that assumes the off-hajj season in Mecca I assume. The surface detonations create a good bit more radiation and it looks like there’s not much worth killing in SA northeast of mohammedville. Now Pyongyang is a different story. The airburst looks to do a nice job and still keep out of the ROK. However, the surface blast would extend a radiation field all the way up to Vladivostok which is definitely not a good idea.

At least they’re nice enough to tell the non-Muslims to get off at the exit before Mecca. I would have figured they’d just lie in wait for the infidels and stone them at the city limits.

No wonder Islamists and the Left have linked political agendas - they love mobs. I think it goes with the propensity to group think.
