Happy Sunday all, I’ll be traveling next weekend so there will be no thread.
The lineup looks great but I’m about to puke if our SJW host picked a Nazi show due to it’s “topicality.” Anyway, Suspense, Cavalcade of America with the Ship the Nazis Had to Get (which looks good), never heard of the Golden Age of Radio or Holly Byline...
How you doing? Prayers out for Texans...

We’re still on the outer edge of the Harvey system. We haven’t had any rain yet, but it looks like some is on the way.
Our dryer just died when I put a wet load in it, and Keith is looking at it trying to figure out the problem, but he’s still got the grill going for baby back ribs and smoked sausage. :-) I’m drying the load of wet clothes at our next door neighbors’ house. They’re out of town, and I asked her if I could go in and use their dryer. She said of course. We’ve been taking care of their yard and stuff while they’re gone, so we have a key.

Yes, in Abilene and San Antonio. Everyone there is fine, though.

Feeling pretty good. Sitting here watching the Redskins-Bengals game, slurping a frosty one. (I've been the on-call tech this weekend, and hopefully the help desk won't call me with any more trifling issues they should technically be able to handle. Four calls, and only one was of any consequence that required an engineer and a bridge line.) A little swelling in my left foot and ankle with the compression socks off, but otherwise pretty good. I found a pair of size 40 jeans hanging in the laundry room that I forgot had, and they fit like a glove. I needed them - I've been losing weight so steadily, I've been cinching my belts tighter to keep the 42's from sliding off. I weighed in at 240-244 the other day (weird bathroom floor - you get a different weight depending where you put the damn scale). Looked in the closet, and I have two size 38's and a 36 to back up into, and I'd like that done by Christmas. Adipex is a wonderful drug, but cutting out the carbs is the key to the engine. I'm beyond jonesing for a hunk of bread or a bowl of rice. It was the same as when I quit smoking five years ago. Once you come out the other side of that withdrawal tipping point, it's a walk. Tonight I'm baking chicken that's been marinating in Wishbone Robusto Italian dressing, and having zucchini in Italian tomato sauce on the side. How everything with you folks?
I'm going for another beer, heat the oven, and see if the wife is finally awake. The 'Skins put Colt McCoy in the game, and he's shredding the Bengals' defense. He's looking a lot sharper than Cousins has.

Hey, Gina! I’ve got a good used dryer in the garage I haven’t had hauled off yet, just needs a new timer module. Tell Keith it’s free if he wants to drive here and pick it up. It’s taking up space. LOLOLOL

Duffy’s Taven is a B show, I have no idea why the SJW loves it.

OK, I admit I ordered this magnet last month and slapped it on the hatch of my Nissan Rogue:
Gotta show a little pride.

I consider it an act of defiance against the embedded political regime. And I know that everyone to the east and west of the I-95 corridor have similar sentiments.
Time to check the chicken (I said CHECK, not CHOKE!) and tune in The Last Ship.
