What ASTOUNDS me is why these totally uninformed people think they have to insert themselves into the political world.

I know that if I tried running Camping World, I’d probably run it straight into the ground. But at least it would not be because of IDIOTIC political statements. I would at least know that my customers are older, whiter, and much more conservative than most of the country.

If asked about something in the political world, I’d do one of two things:
1) Duck the question
2) Answer in a way that won’t cause me to lose my customer base.

In this case, the best answer (and the answer we wouldn’t be reading about) is to simply say that I don’t have enough information on that subject to comment.

Really, that is ALL our side expects from these CEOs. What the hell is so hard about that?

How about: “We strive to be apolitical, we serve customers across the political spectrum with excellent RV products and services, and strongly prefer to continue doing so, so thank you for your concern but we have no comment upon political matters.”
