I agree. The military should not be obligated to perform elective surgery because someone wants to “change” something. People in the military who want to have this kind of surgery which would make them not deployable should be medically or psychologically discharged.

I heard of quite a few folks that joined the military because they wanted free maturity care. And women do get pregnant to avoid deployment.

Yep. And if this was such a pressing injustice that needed to be remedied for the betterment of the armed services why did soetoro wait 7.5 yrs to do anything about it?
He just wanted to leave a big, steaming pile in the middle of the Oval office floor for Pres. Trump.

We don’t let regular people join the military so that they can get elective surgeries and be incapacitated for 8 months getting paid.
To hell if in their mind they really, really want it and it really really bothers them. We all have crap that bothers us and we don’t pull this garbage.

Then you have to pay them for life. Easiest way to do this is have a policy that stipulates that elective surgery will not be paid for by the US Government.

Id say it is breach of contract to chang from what was accepted at recruitment though no way we should pay for all the change entails.
This should not even be up for discussion. Get rid of them.
