I saw my first drive-in liquor store in Granbury Texas about 15 years ago.

I was astounded. Had to drive thru and pick up a 12-pack of Lone Star beer. Actually took a few pictures too.

The name was B’s Beer Barn, IIRC.

I’m pretty sure Texas used to have drive-thrus where you could pick up liquor AND ammo.

Not that (ahem) I've ever been here, but this place has it all. Beer and hot babes.

You don't even have to leave your car. And if you do go there (not that I ever have) bring a cute puppy. The girls love to lean over and go "awww" at your puppy as you go "awww" at theirs.

We’ve had Brew-Thru’s on the OBX of NC for forty years but it’s beer and wine. “Hard” liquor is only sold via state-run ABC stores, which is a legacy of our tee-totaling Baptist heritage as well as bootlegging too, I suppose.
