An Arizona State University professor was distressed to discover in a recent study that her female peers do not desire "the stigma of extreme weight gain.”

Professor Breanne Fahs, a self-described “fat woman,” recently published an article in the Women’s Studies International Forum in which she declared that “the fear of fatness is far more extreme, exaggerated, and terrible than the lived realities of living in a fat body.”

When she sits around the house, she actually sits AROUND the house.

I know I heard that on some old sitcom or other type of comedy show years ago, but I can't recall which. Most search results quote someone from the stupid post-John Belusi/Gildner Radner SNL days as saying it, as if he/she came up with it.

Do you recall the series or show I might be referring to?

When I see an obese person at the gym I have nothing but positive thoughts about that particular fat person. If I saw this fat slob in person I would probably puke. I don’t spend time in buffet lines, so I won’t run into her.
