Far too many times, I see posters here complain about their lefty kiddos. WHY DID THEY TURN OUT THAT WAY; WHERE WERE THESE SUPPOSED CONSERVATIVE PARENTS?

I think what is key is that our family always looked for ways to explain how the government, politicians, laws affected our lives to kids—as well as how our Constitution protected us. Perhaps some parents don’t bring politics down to their kids’ level.
I had my kids at various political rallies/functions at a very early age—so they were politically aware, had Rush on in the car and at home (when he was the only conservative on talk radio), Fox when they were actually conservative.
I wonder if some parents did not think their kids could understand?
LOL my millennial daughter struggles with some of the “in the weeds” political issues swirling around today, and she is somewhat shy; however, she actually called Rush last Spring and was bumped up to his first call LOL Boy was she nervous! She did well :)
...A very liberating experience for her to do that and explain her position :) She is now ready to spread her wings and fly solo as a conservative ;)
