It sounds like they’re using their 2006 playbook. It’s not going to work again.
Let me restate that.
Their 2006 playbook isn’t going to work again unless they pull off engineering some kind of unimaginable crisis in the USA at large. Even then I don’t think they’ll take control of the House.

Their 2006 playbook worked for one very important reason. By 2006, Americans found it repulsive that their government would piss away hundreds of billions of dollars on military campaigns all over the world while allowing -- no,
promoting -- a Latin American invasion right here at home.
I'm sure President Trump has all of this figured out even if the Republicans in Congress don't.
