Having just got back from Los Angeles, I’ll say this: The state can secede. Please do. I never saw a bigger congregation of freaks like I saw in LA.
And for those that aren’t familiar with the FX show “Taboo”: Actors were considered to be literally the lowest of the lowest scum. The show is set 200 years ago; little has changed, especially when compared to most (but not all) of the current crop.
We just need the coastal counties of California to secede. They'd form some Hugo Chavez marxist-style Chile-shaped foreign regime.
Inland California (where FR is HQ in Fresno) has a decent-sized population for a U.S. state, and would vote mostly Republican statewide. Cut them free from the cancerous coastal counties and create a new state called Sierra. It would even be about 80% the size of the original California, and roughly the same shape.
