Nature's pinhole camera! Gave me some great videos of a partial eclipse some time ago and without going blind!

We had a partial eclipse in San Diego many years ago and these tiny eclipse images under the trees were fascinating. We had prepared those little boxes to look at the eclipse safely, but then found we didn't need them as we saw scores of the images right there on the cement parking lot, right under the trees. Fascinating.

We'll be right in the center of it on Monday (our son lives just 5 miles from dead-center in South Carolina). We're driving up in the motorhome, arriving tomorrow to beat the crowds.

I do have a concern about people being on the road, freeways especially, who (unbelievable as it may seem) have no idea the eclipse is coming. Sadly, I think there will be lots of accidents.
