The formula was immensely successful. So much so that the term Tiffany setting has reached Kleenex statusits now used colloquially throughout the jewelry industry to describe any multi-pronged solitaire setting, Tiffany or no. And it happens to be the most sought-after engagement ring style to date, according to the Tiffany camp. (We believe that is still the case today, confirmed a spokesperson for Jewelers of America.)
I’ll be darned——I haven’t thought about diamond settings in years———so it’s still around.

Could customers sue for fraud ?
Obviously the term has been around for all of our lives - with its distinctive meaning - and, sorry, Costco is right on this, despite what the silly court decided.
Jewelry is ridiculous. My wife thinks so too. We spend such frivolous purchases on real estate instead. And used cars. New cars and jewelry are a good way to reach retirement without a pot to pi$$ in.
I bought it as soon as it was out of the rotisserie, around 4 pm. They probably bank on it continuing to cook as it sits under the heater lamp. Also, the Costco chickens are HUUUUUGE!
“New cars and jewelry are a good way to reach retirement without a pot to pi$$ in.”
Amen, Amen, AMEN!
