You have to be perceptive these days to weed out the disinformation and do a "really? seriously?" look at what's put out as news on the MSMLSD circuit. As for the dead tree newspapers, they're slowly going subscription websites that people don't want to pay for. Seattle lost the Post-Intelligencer (Seattle's oldest paper) quit printing several years ago, went online and now is practically not heard of; it was a super liberal paper with a political cartoonist that actually hated America and our military. The PI was no great loss.

When it comes to cost and paying, liberal run the other way.

There was a time in my life when there were good regional newspapers. They actually employed people with brains who could write. They have now all been purchased and all that is left is the AP feed. (AP = Always Propaganda)
