Truth be told.

We have a bunch of Universities, Government agencies, Media elites and now Corporations that are run by Nihilists.

We are now being told that everything is relative, subjective and if you claim otherwise, you are to be destroyed.

IMHO, it’s been the slow accumulation of disparate trends in both Science and our culture. Science has embraced the uncertainty of quantum physics and that has found itself allied with Buddhism.

It’s a “Particle Zoo” where you can be your own God.

And there is nobody that is allowed to tell you differently.

“Science has embraced the uncertainty of quantum physics and that has found itself allied with Buddhism.”

Interesting observation. I wonder about the logic that leads to that conclusion.

All truth is relative. Except environmental science is not relative. It is settled in favor of human destruction of the planet. Homocentric pollution is true because the alternative is false. All idea promulgated by conservatives, patriots, Republicans, Cristians, or other rednecks are false because leftist ideas are true. This is the foundation of liberal reason.

Science has embraced the uncertainty of quantum physics

... this is a loaded statement.

Uncertainty is an integral part of the atomic theory initiated by Bohr, and brought to fruition in the 1920's and forward. In other words, it's part of our fundamental understanding of atoms, molecules and hence all of ordinary matter. It's impossible to do without it, scientifically.

So to say that science has "embraced" uncertainty gives a false impression that this was some sort of philosophical decision.

QM, including quantum uncertainty, explains at a stroke many disparate properties, starting with the periodic table, of course, and moving on to the basic theories of chemistry and solid state physics, including for example the properties of metals, then progressing to explanations of many strange and arcane experimental results ... all based on a fixed set of simple mathematical principles governing the behavior of protons, neutrons, and electrons.

Then Lo and behold, the entire realm of high energy particle physics yields to the same set of principles. All to the greater glory of God, if I may be so bold as to say so.
