What an ill-informed opinion.
NASA Marshall Space Flight Center has some of the best and brightest in this area, and I have the pleasure and privelige to know some of them.
And, no, I am not a NASA or government employee.
Brightness does not equal competence. I have dealt with NASA for years as a supplier. They, as a group and organization, should be banned from making anything that human lives depend on. Oh and they piss away money at a rate that makes the Pentagon jealous.
