A Texas professor is making waves on social media after protesting the state's campus carry law by wearing protective combat gear to class.
San Antonio College geography instructor Charles K. Smith went to his class last week sporting a camouflaged bulletproof vest and helmet. He said he wore it because he doesnt feel safe.
It definitely makes me feel uneasy that there are more firearms on campus than there should be, Smith told mySA.com. [Dressing this way] was just a statement on how I felt.

No worries, he will get tired of wearing that battle rattle.
Those who can’t do...teach.
Bless his heart.
Wow. Those comments about him on Rate My Professor are damning to the education system. However, comments like that can be made all throughout the “education” (read: money mill) industry.
He looks like a geezer in my neighborhood who tools around on his very large tricycle!
If he carried a gun he would be much safer...but I thought show and tell stopped in 4th grade...
What sort of battle is Professor Rock preparing for with that getup? An arm-wrestling match over the last cheese puff in the faculty lounge?
Good-make him earn his pay-who the hell is still doling out $$ to these fake education centers. CRIKEY!
As long as he is an asshole he might as well advertise it.
Yep..went to Canada.
He looks like he needs a laxative...?

Shoulda brought his blankie. Those are lighter.
Just begging for a ‘kick me’ sign to be stuck on his back at every opportunity. Or contact cement smeared on the inside of his helmet and armor.
