Happy Sunday all, in a rush with just getting back...
Holy Crap, the repulsive, pretentious, SJW isn’t running Gunsmoke...
How you doing?
No Gunsmoke. Well. Just another reason we don’t listen to him anymore. 20th Century Radio proudly plays Gunsmoke in their daily lineups, and we now tune them in when Ed’s Big Broadcast used to be turned on in our house.
Vision! How was your trip? You having a good weekend?
By the way, your classic picture isn’t loading in comment #2. Maybe that site isn’t carrying the image anymore, or maybe it’s just our computers. Do you see it on your computer?
Hey Gina, it was wonderful. I’ve been living in bliss for a week or so. Got back two hours ago. It’s amazing being there. You truly feel the wealth from their history in the food, way of life, landscape.
How have you been? Having heavy rains?
Thanks, it comes and goes. Google photos has issues. I need to find a new hosting service since photobucket kicked the bucket.
I didn’t know Photobucket was gone! I had a bunch of pictures with them.
You had a great time over there. I’m glad to hear it. :-)
Yes, we’ve had the rain. It’s been quite a lot this spring and summer. It rained today, but now is fair, and Keith’s singeing some chicken on the Green Egg. :-D
Evening, folks.
Hey, how you feeling?
Yeah, how’re you feeling, Viking?
Status quo. I get energy bursts in fits and starts. Other times, like this weekend, I just sleep 18 hours a day. I think that is out of boredom when the grandkids come over. Connie is so preoccupied with them, I’m left to my own devices. Can’t do yard work because they’re in the swimming pool growing gills all day. Still losing weight - I’ve gone from 266 to 251 in a little less than seven weeks so far. My goal is to get back down to around 200-205. And then my ribs will be peeking out. LOL I used to work out quite a bit. The scan results removed the possibility of cancer, along with the latest blood work - no tumors were detected. That’s a relief - no bone marrow biopsy. But the splenomegaly has gotten a little worse, and I’ve got portal hypertension in both organs. Something is causing my spleen to get backed up with platelets and it’s affecting my liver (there’s an arterial constriction), and by extension, the blood flow in my abdominal cavity. The oncologist wanted to schedule an endoscopic exam to look for varices in my upper GI tract - he said they’ll develop from the back-pressure, and I won’t even know they’re there until I start throwing up blood - and band them if any were found. But the gastrointerologist he works with lost his wife in a hit-and-run car accident last Thursday morning, so he’s not going to in the office for a while. He sent my imaging results over as a matter of standard practice, but for now, I go back in 90 days for a new CBC to make sure I’m stable, them we’ll pick up from there. One thing my GP doc mentioned was a transfusion to get my count back up. Insofar as the other issues, the meds they have me on are working miraculously. The chronic anemia is so gone, my RBC count is HIGH normal now. Hey, I’ll take any good news I can get.
