Celebrity chefs are everywhere. They host reality TV shows, judge cooking competitions, publish cookbooks, and open their own restaurants. Along the way, many of them ruffle a few feathers. Many celebrity chefs are genuinely talented. But some have polarizing personalities. Some have boring shows and lackluster recipes. And others are, plain and simple, badly overrated. Read on to check out the celebrity chefs everybody sometimes including their fellow chefs loves to hate.More
From bleached hair to bowling shirts, Guy Fieri is, without a doubt, one of the most hated celebrity chefs of all time. But what exactly is it that causes droves of people to disdain the seemingly happy-go-lucky guy in the first place? From his brash personality to his lackluster restaurant in NYC, reviews of Fieri fall flat. Here are 14 reasons why this chef is nothing but a culinary catastrophe.More
[Im sure she did, in no NO WAY, resemble Lena Dunham...]
Absolutely no way whatsoever and no hint at all of her preference.
That’s why I was so shocked.
Anthony Bourdain.
Sanctimonious Liberal Kook.
“Guys show, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives focuses on and highlights Middle American, Blue Collar Entrepreneurship, Which the Left despises. And takes their aggression out in crappy previews, personal slander and occasional Fake News.
I hadn’t thought of it that way, but you’re right. It’s ironic, too, because I’ll bet Guy is a default liberal and a Cankles voter.
50 some replies and no one mentioned Nigella Lawson? I’d lick her pots and pans, if you know what I mean...
Is that an elf?
When I was younger there was this French guy on TV and he oftentimes had his daughter on.
She was fine as hell. Did I say that loud enough? She was
FINE.
AS.
HELL.
I loved her for many years before I would actually lay hands on a woman. She formed the template for my ideal woman, and I’m pretty sure she was a D cup too.
Cat Cora: a big fan of the clam bake.
Great forensic work on your part, FRiend.
"...All you haters can go drop dead you hear me? Don't come back to our restaurant. Go drop dead you idiots! I will find out where you all live and kick your ass. You dirty pieces of crap..."
Jacques Pepin?
I watched the Food Network when they had some good cooking shows, like Sara Moulton, Ming Tsai, Caprial Pence and Two Fat Ladies. Like you, I lost interest when the chefs became increasingly obnoxious.
I remember all those shows, too! Too bad FN went over to obnoxious personalities and LGBTQ agenda and ruined a good thing.
Yes, for the win!
Plus Ari Gold’s wife was sleeping with him!
Omg. Can’t stop laughing. If he really said this, it is absolutely golden.
Me too, when I worked in the hotel
Kitchens I had bosses who swore at
Me for things I didn’t even do. Those were the better
Ones; some were just hitting the bottle
And hitting on me all day.
They all got super nice once I was engaged to a chef though (not one of
My bosses)
Rachel is okay....wish she hadn't gone Hollywood on us...
Ree Drummond....think of it this way...her husbands family is 17th on the list of largest land owners in America....she can pretend to be down to earth but she's worth millions and millions...I find her recipes simplistic and bland...
but I watch her anyway, because we all have that dream of a very rich handsome cowboy husband living on the prairie with not one but two huge houses and beautiful children as well.lol
you guys have got to check out PBS's "A chef's life"....she's great...cooks from scratch but traces where our food comes from....
also, the Great British Bake off...its a kick...
one thing to remember about all these cook offs...everything is pre arranged...there really is no competition, its just play acting...but we all knew that I guess.....everything of the tv game show/contest circuit is a sham....
I forgot to mention LIDIA....as well as that guy who cooks in Louisiana...don’t know his name but I like him...
My favorite cooking show was The Taste. I liked Ludovic best. The female chef who was an abused wife seem d more
Focused on getting her boobs max exposure than the food. And it is hard to fit Anthony bourdains arrogance into
The camera shots.
