Bahstonese is a very complex linguistic genus that has many sub-groupings called "NAY-bah-hoods," arranged in rough geographic enclaves based upon the ethnic and socio-economic make-up, based upon shifting patterns of immigration, upward-mobility, real-estate speculation, and politics. Each Naybahhood has a distinct vocabulary, cadences, and list of common idiomatic expressions, so it is actually possible to determine if the speaker is from JP, Eastie, Southie, or even Hyde Paahk. There are, however, certain pronunciations and phrases that are common to all the Naybahhoods that identify the speaker as being from Bahston.

Here is a sentence that when read, is instantly identifiable as Genus Bahstonese, Naybahhood Hyde Paahk (My origin):

Yiz frum Bahston? Jeez...that's Wicked Pissa. Let's go out fer a couple o Beeyahs...they got free Pahking behind Fenway Pahk, and da Soxer away tonight so there's nuthin doin. We can just bang a Yooie over by the CITGO Sign, and If we don't get cahded at the pakkie we can get wikkid sh*tfaced!"

Thus ends today's Lesson! LOL!
