I haven’t gone to the Post Office since February. I write 2-3 checks some months, 1 other months. I don’t buy newspapers. I’ll never give up the book, what you call the “physical book.” I don’t have a land line.
I haven’t contributed to the downfall of the music industry. I hope to hell that I have had a part in reducing TV revenues. I haven’t done cursive for at least 50 years.

Music?!? It is alive, well and amazing in many countries, Brasil has pagode and it has been in a golden age for 30 years. 100s of bands as talented as the Beatles releasing hits for years. All you need to do is understand Portuguese. The Colombians have Vallenato which is fantastic but they also have Carlos Vives and Shakira expanding their pop horizons. So many other incredible Latin musicians out there it’s impossible to get a grasp on all of them. But yeah, if the author listens to that filth we call rap or hip hop, music is dead and there should be a DNR order for it.

Jimmy Carter, Bill and Hillary Clinton,
the Obamas, and various Hollywood liberals too numerous

Holding a book is still often superior to a computer

When I read for pleasure, it's a hard cover book. It puts me in a whole different zone, away from staring at the words on a computer or listening to it read on a CD. It's a shame to see cursive disappearing. It necessitates a flowing of thoughts and has a creative, individualistic aspect to it. Music? Even if commercial music disappears, there will always be small-group venues and events. That might be an improvement over the way corporate music controls the "musicians" it owns.

What bothers me is how much of that list will be replaced with things that require electricity. What happens when the grid fails?

Try finding a METAL coffee can.

I have a few, they are great for soaking parts in gasoline.

Try that with a plastic one.
